Pancake Pigs
These are the most adorable little pancakes that are super easy. Okay, okay. I know that this isn't exactly baking but they're fun to make anyways! These can be made in 20 minutes maximum and are the perfect way to start Father's Day!
(Makes 4 pigs)
You'll Need:
- Pancake Batter (either homemade or from a box) that makes 14 pancakes - here's a link to mine (you will have extra batter)
- Maple syrup
- Pan
- Oil
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate chips or black food gel
1. Make the batter according to instructions
2. Place some oil in your pan.
3. Make a pancake that is about in between medium sized to large. This will be its head
4. Make a medium pancake. This will be its ears
5. Make a baby pancake. This will be its snout.
6. Assemble the pig by placing the head on a plate. Cut the medium pancake in half and place a bit of whipped cream on each ear and place them under the head. Pour some whipped cream on the back of the small pancake and place on the middle of the head.
7. Place the chocolate chips to form the pig's nostrils and eyes
8. Serve with whipped cream and maple syrup.
