Chocolate Mug Brownie

This is a delicious recipe for a brownie you can make in minutes! I love this recipe since it doesn't require turning on the oven!

Makes 2 servings

You'll need:

2 tablespoons white sugar

1 tablespoon brown sugar (or white if you have no brown)

2 tablespoons salted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon vanilla or coffee extract

1 large egg yolk

1 tablespoon sunflower oil

1 tablespoon water

4 tablespoons all purpose flour

1 tablespoon Hershey's cocoa powder

A hand full of chocolate chips

1 teaspoon of milk if needed

2 large mugs

Ice-cream and toppings

1. In a medium bowl, combine the sugars,butter and extract and mix with a rubber spatula until smooth. Add the egg yolk, oil and water and mix to combine.

2. Add the flour and cocoa and mix until there are no lumps. You can even add the milk at this stage. Fold in the chocolate chips.

3. Evenly distribute the mixture between two microwave-safe mugs. Microwave on high power for 30 second intervals until the brownies are cooked.

4. Top with ice-cream and your favourite toppings.

Enjoy!

Tip: Serve the mug brownies hot so the chocolate chips melt in your mouth!
